Airport pub pizza

The Airport Pub, Manchester is located next to the airport. Here people, who are big fans of aeroplanes, can visit to watch them take off and land.

In the pub itself, they serve food and drink so you can have a bite to eat. I tried the veggie pizza, (Contains: Courgettes, sweet peppers, onions, mushrooms, sweetcorn, tomato, garlic and mozzarella). It was made in to a rectangular shape, with the toppings sprinkled on the top. It was just the way I like it, very fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend it if pizza is your thing. Or you can try something else off the menu, which looks and sounds good. The prices are at the top end of food that you get at any other pub so it is something which would be a treat.

Beer Garden – with a view

When you go outside into the beer garden, there are picnic tables, for you to be able to eat outside with the view to the runway. There is also a play area for the kids, so that when they start to get bored they can go and play on the climbing frame.

While you are watching the Aeroplanes land and take off, you get see all the usual well known company names. They come and go often and you also get a chance to see some of the less well known company’s.

When you are lucky, you might see someone come or go in a private Airplane. In addition, if you get there at the right time you can get to see the famous Airbus land or take off.

As you watch the airbus Aeroplane take off you do wonder how it does get of the ground since it’s so big and heavy, yet it manages somehow.
