Full Review

Pokemon Moon CoverPokémon Moon is a role-play video game, just like all the other previous games. The game was developed by Game Freak. It is published by Nintendo. for the Nintendo 3DS. It is the seventh generation of Pokémon games and was released in November 2016.

Just like previous games, each game follows the journey of a Pokémon Trainer and their friends, as they go and train their Pokémon. This game takes place in Hawaii, in the Aloha region. The aim of this game is to defeat the gang known as Team Skull. Later on you will have to defeat Aether Foundation. All while also challenging various trainers which gradually increase in difficulty.

Popularity

On release, Pokémon Moon received an overwhelmingly positive response from critics. It has shipped over 10 million copies of the game worldwide, within a week. It became one of the fastest selling games in Nintendo’s history. At the end of March 2017, there was 15.44 million copies sold worldwide. In April 2017, we found it was among the top 20 best-selling video games in 2016.

This game is better than earlier games. When you receive the map to see your route, the length of the journey matches up better with what’s on the map.  Graphic’s are better than all past games. As you go through the game you are able to buy clothes for your character, so you can make it more personalised to you, instead of using the default look. There is more of a story to this Pokémon game to previous ones and as you get into the game there is a bit of drama between some of the characters and you have to try to sort it all out through Pokémon Battles. The game gets to get really hard, as you move up to your last task, before reaching the Pokémon League.
